The Ambedkar Foundation of Asia (TAFA)
GEOGRAPHIC FOCUS THE AMBEDKAR FOUNDATION OF ASIA primarily focuses its efforts on regions within Jharkhand, India, where social and economic inequalities are most pronounced. The Foundation works in rural and underdeveloped areas, targeting communities that face significant challenges in accessing education, healthcare, and basic amenities. By concentrating on these regions, the Foundation has effectively implemented programs that address the specific needs of marginalized and disadvantaged populations. In the future, THE AMBEDKAR FOUNDATION OF ASIA aims to expand its initiatives to other underserved regions within India, continuing its mission to uplift and empower those who have been historically marginalized. Our Focus Areas
Empowerment
With a focus on women empowerment, TAFA has been actively organizing various initiatives to help women achieve self-sufficiency and lead independent lives.
Education
TAFA firmly believes that formal education alone is not enough to shape a child into a well-rounded individual. To address this, the organization emphasizes integrating social and cultural values into the education process and has been actively organizing activities to support this approach.
Health Care
Believing in the principle that health is wealth, TAFA has been organizing various healthcare and health awareness activities for residents of slums and rural communities.
Vocational Skill Development
TAFA has empowered over 1,000 youths and women by enhancing their vocational skills, enabling them to achieve self-sustainability.
Entrepreneurship Development Training
Providing training and skill development alone is not enough; the organization also focuses on self-employment and placement initiatives, successfully supporting over 300 trainees in securing opportunities.
Youth Development
TAFA organizes a variety of youth development activities, including personality development, sports enhancement, and cultural enrichment programs.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
The organizational structure of THE AMBEDKAR FOUNDATION OF ASIA is designed to ensure efficient and effective delivery of its programs and services. At the top is the Board of Directors, responsible for overall governance, strategic direction, and policy-making. The Executive Director leads the organization, overseeing daily operations and ensuring alignment with the mission and vision.
Below the Executive Director, the organization is divided into several key departments:

Manages financial planning, budgeting, accounting, and administrative support.
